THE ASSASSIN
Introduction
The Assassin Moth is the latest in ultimate sailing. Proudly designed and developed in New Zealand the emphasis has been on producing a highly competitive but yet affordable racing yacht. The Assassin Moth is the best value Hydrofoiling Moth available on the market, featuring all carbon fibre parts, with no aluminium parts to work harden and corrode.
It is suitable for all sailors of all ages. The ideal weight range is 50-90kg. If your over 90kg we can custom build a tougher boat to suit. If you can sail a laser you will be able to sail an Assassin, we even have opti kids stepping straight into it.
The Assassin is the choice of many top olympic and world champion sailors including NZ Olympian Andrew Brown and current Olympic 49er Gold Medialist Jonas Warrer. A lot of the top sailors choose an Assassin to sail alongside their other sailing commitments for the sheer joy and new challenges it brings. It is extremely addictive and sailors must be warned you probably won't want to sail anything else. The Assassin cruises at around 20kts and top speeds are in excess of 27kts. The Ideal wind range is 6-30 knots, these boats can take off in 6 knots of wind and are at home in 25 knots of wind, doing in excess of 16 knots boat speed up wind and over 25knots reaching and running.

The Assassin hull is produced from carbon double bias with several bulkheads giving the boat a rigid internal structure minimising twist.
The Assassins wand mechanism is direct with linkages only at the wand axle and bell crank. This minimises the slop and makes for precise control. On the bow there is easy adjustable gearing for fine tuning.
Simple and efficient wand mechanism.
